Our recent service call and appliance repair by Sergei with Avantgarde appliance repair was the best we could have imagined. We received same day diagnostic and repair service - on a Saturday morning. Sergei had all parts and equipment necessary and was so professional, timely and efficient. I have no hesitation to recommend this company - and best of all they service all of Ottawa and rural areas that no one else will go. Such a great business model!

Sergei was very professional. He responded very quickly when I reached out for an appointment. He assessed the problem with our dishwasher efficiently and was back a couple days later to install the part successfully. Would definitely use him again!

Our washing machine blocked over the holidays and Sergei and his helper came right out. It was a messy & heavy repair job and Sergei got it working again on the same day. He had our repair done when all the other companies we called refused the job. We can't recommend him highly enough. This is the best company. Next time I won't call anybody else. He responded quickly, arriving the very next day after my call. What impressed me most was his ability to diagnose the issue immediately. Excellent customer service. Gave a 2 hour window of when he would arrive and came on time. Looked at my washer draining problem and had it repaired in no time flat. Rate was exceptionally reasonable. Our fridge broke down Easter weekend. Called around and everyone booked for a few days. Called Avant Garde and was able to come next day. Excellent and honest service. The repairman was exceptionally knowledgable and informative. He was able to fix the fridge, very happy customer. Would not hesitate to call him again.

Friendly, quick and honest service. Another company was telling us we needed to change the dryer’s motor, a very expensive repair. Avantgarde took its time, and found the issue was that a sock had gotten into the drum and was blocking it. Removed the sock, did not need anything else and everything is working perfectly. Saved us a bunch of money.

Dude was legit the best repairman. He was courteous (had boot covers to not track dirt inside), professional, and efficient. He diagnosed the issue with my dryer quickly. He showed me a photo of what was wrong with my dryer once he took it apart, and explained how it should look and the likely cause of the issue. His fees are the best in Ottawa, $55-80 dollars less than other people charge just for the call fee. He is an independent worker and is his own boss. I would recommend him to everyone.

Our washer developed a major leak. Avantgarde Appliance Repair was able to come the next day. We were told they would arrive between 9 - 10 am, they arrived at 9:05 am, just as predicted! Sergei was extremely professional, clean & respectful of our home. He also showed us what the problem was, and made sure everything was working properly before he left. The dryer suddenly stopped heating. I called a few places, but Sergey was the one who answered the phone first. He arrived the next day and completed the repair in one trip! Sergey was responsive throughout, arrived when he said he would, and quickly and reasonably repaired my dryer. There was nothing more that could be desired. Will def recommend him to others.
